Custom-crafted raffia homewares on Lorde Howe Island
We are passionate artisans. We love challenging our craft to bring unique, durable and gorgeous pieces to the world. With a particular penchant for homewares, we were thrilled to work with fabulous Island House to create a bespoke range and add some raffia magic to that place of natural beauty.
Island House consists of two houses for just eight guests in a very private setting surrounded by a forest of Kentia palms and centuries-old Banyan trees.
The raffia creations included rugs, placemats, picnic mats, baskets, cushion covers and blinds. Each piece was carefully crafted by hand using natural raffia fibres that are sustainably sourced and processed. The result is elegant, eco-friendly and durable, ideally aligned with the Island House atmosphere and its values.
