Weaving

WEAVING | Raffia is woven by hand on traditional looms, each strand passed over and under to build a fabric of natural strength and softness. The weave's tension and rhythm are controlled entirely by the artisan, giving every piece its even, refined finish. It's one of the oldest textile techniques in the world, practised here with generational expertise.

Handcrafted in Madagascar, In Small Batches

Behind every piece is a family in Madagascar — a workshop, a weaver, and a tradition that stretches back long before us. We work in small batches on purpose, because quality can't be hurried. The slight variations you might notice, in texture, in weave, in tone, are the fingerprints of the hands that made it. We think that's something worth celebrating.
